Our second trip to AZ
Madigan and I went to Arizona to visit my family for the second time since he was born. I declare that it is officially easier to travel with a 2 month old than a 4 month old. :-) Alas, we had a marvelous trip! We spent time swimming in the pool every day we were there and Madigan LOVED IT! He has almost mastered the floating on his own, though we still steady his head to keep him from ingesting too much water.
A couple of highlights from the trip:
We got to go up to the Peaks to hike for a day. It's a special place for our whole family, with lots of memories, and it was so neat to be able to make more memories which included Bundle! It really made us miss Daddy back at home, though. It's just not the same without him.
A dear friend/sister, Judi, from our Virginia Beach days (1995-1998) flew through Phoenix and was able to meet us for a quick lunch on her way back to Canada. It was as if 12 years had not gone by between us... SO incredible to see her again!
My Aunt T and her two grandsons were able to come up to the Peaks to spend the day with us and meet Madigan. A MUCH OVERDUE wonderful time spent together.
Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie J and Auntie K were able to satiate some of their "bundle craving" and get in some good cuddle time with the boy.
And now for the photo journal of the trip...
