No multi-tasking for me

It's official... I can no longer multi-task. Take that off my resume! I pulled a horrible mummi-moment two days ago.

Valiant, Madigan and I headed to the barn to take off the horse's blankets. On the way there, I got a phone call, which lasted for some duration. Madigan and I got to the barn, took the horses blankets off, petted them for a bit and then re-loaded ourselves into the car. All this while, I'm still on the phone. 15 minutes later we arrive home, safe and sound... but with one part missing. When I saw Valiant's leash sitting on the seat next to me, I nearly panicked. I felt like a mother who's lost her child at the mall. We raced back to the barn, exceeding the speed limit by too much, peeled in to the driveway to the barn, and saw, to me extreme relief, Valiant sitting next to her horses looking around for her missing family. When she saw the truck, she got all excited and came running over, the little worried look dissipating off her face. Oy... I'm lucky that she's so sensible and knew to stay with her horses while her Mummi pulled the ditsy.

Hehe! I'm tellin' ya- once you have kids, your brains leak out at night while you sleep. It all started at the hospital during his birth and then it's downhill from there!

Glad that young Madigan is too little to be the one left!
