This past weekend, I was able to ride Fancy quite a bit and it was WONDERFUL! I was able to jump her for the first time in over 1 year! It is so good to be back on her... it's like having my an old friend back!
I've attached some photos here. Caspian is really good about staying with us and keeping up, though we wore him out yesterday! (No, he doesn't jump the jumps :-)

When you jump the jumps with Fancy, what does Caspian do? Is he confused that something just isn't the same? Does he automatically just go around? Does he attempt but then realize it's for the big kids? I think that's something I'd like to see :)

Caspi is hilarious, because her runs behind us all the way up to the jump, then whips around just in the knick of time. Sometimes if he's really tired and I'm cantering Fancy, he cuts the circle in half and meets us wherever he thinks we'll end up, as we canter. We have to be careful, though, because if he's irritated that we're not stopping for him, he'll kick up at us. :-)
