Krista and I have made a habit of taking a few days to play in the mountains of southern Colorado for our birthday each year, but this year we haven't seen much of each other and the boys have missed her as much as I have. "Ankie Tae" decided to spend the week in Arizona so that she could see the boys more, as well. It has been a full week and we have made some incredible memories. I'm not sure if the boys or I needed it more???
We took several long hikes together, had some family picnics and we also loaded up the horses for a couple amazing trail rides. The Great Painter has put together pretty spectacular scenes for us to witness in the skies and the creation surrounding us. My heart is full.
